Combi Lift, member to the Cargo Equipment Experts CEE network in Germany, made use of its Air Pad System (APS) to slide a ship section weight 1500 ton, from a barge onto a floating dock in Bremerhaven recently.

The section was built to extend a ferry by 30 m. The APS enables Combi Lift to move heavy cargo up to weights of 2.400 ton along short distances. Dimensions of the the section: length 30 m x width 26 m x height 23 m.
