Combi Lift GmbH, member to the Cargo Equipment Experts (CEE) network in Germany, has successfully moved one port crane from Rhenus Wilhelmshaven to Steelwind Nordenham.

The main body of the crane drove on rails from the pier to Combi Lift’s deck carrier MV Papenburg. The crane’s boom and other auxiliaries have been lifted by shore cranes on board. The unloading in Nordenham was handled by shore cranes of Steelwind.

The overall dimensions of the crane are 20.5 m x 12.5 m x 39.7 m (l x w x h) with a total weight of 520 tonnes plus jib 47 m x 3.5 m x 3.5 m (l x w x h) with a total weight of 40 tonnes plus counterweights.
