BNSF Logistics (BNSFL) Houston based Global Project Centre managed the complex movement of a cement mill for one of their clients from Europe to Africa.

Together with their Turkish partner Smart Logistics in Istanbul, BNSFL handled the shipment of 1500 cbm cement mill equipment from Izmir, Turkey to Mombasa, Kenya

The cargo was trucked from Izmir to Mersin Port in Turkey , loaded onto flat racks and shipped with Messina Line to Mombasa.

BNSFL is the US member for the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) and Smart Logistics represents the network in Turkey.
