Project experts shine with out-of-the-box shipping method

The experts from FLS-KAA, member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) for Iraq, got asked to rush some pipes and fittings from Jebel Ali to a project site in Kazakhstan. Some of the pipes were 15 meters long.

“Whilst our client was advised by other forwarders and few carriers to load the same on break bulk method on container ship by using multiple flat bed containers, our project team planned and executed the same on a normal flat rack container with arms up right at the same time made sure lifting points of the container were totally free. All in a normal days work at FLS”. Mr. Mrinal Kumar of FLS-KAA stated.

“Out-of-the box-thinking is the trademark for professional project forwarders, such as our members” said Mr. Wolfgang Karau, Director of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC).
