Argosy Transportation Group in huge LPG tank moves

Argosy Transportation Group, member to the Cargo Equipment Experts CEE network in the USA, transported LPG tanks from Veracruz, Mexico to Georgetown, Guyana. Argosy Transportation Group oversaw the logistical project management and performed the transportation of four sixty thousand gallon LPG tanks.

The tanks had dimensions of: 90′ L x 11′ W x 12.5′ H (27m x 3.35 m x 3.8 m) with a weight: 95,600 lbs/tank (40 MT) per tank.

Argosy’s responsibilities included transporting the tanks from the Port of Veracruz, MX to the final resting place inside the gas depot in Georgetown, Guyana. Argosy’s experts mobilized the necessary heavy haul equipment from Houston, TX to safely and efficiently transport the tanks from the intermediate storage facility at the Port of Georgetown to their final installation position at the jobsite. Argosy’s team collaborated closely with their Oil & Gas client and Guyanan authorities.
