CEE network members met in Antwerp for annual conference

The members of the equipment owners network Cargo Equipment Experts CEE met on 17th – 18th May in Antwerp, Belgium, for their 6th membership conference in the Ramada Plaza Hotel.

The network members learned about anti bribery and corruption policies from the TRACE Organization President, Mrs. Alexandra Wrage. CEE achieved certification with TRACE earlier this year.

The attending members voted for a one-member-per-country and designated area membership status and also elected a Board of Advisors (BoA), consisting of four persons from the attending member companies to assist the networks Directors with new membership applications. As venue for the 2016 CEE membership 7th conference the members voted for Abu Dhabi.

The BoA consists of:

  • Marc Huybrechts, Winjgaard Natie, Belgium
  • Michael Miao, Intermax Logistics, China
  • Eyup Ekin, Ekin Heavy and Project Cargo Transportation, Turkey
  • Shihab Hydrose, Fast & Direct Heavy Lift Solution Services, U.A.E.

The CEE group was accompanied by the members of the Priority Cargo Network, who will also rejoin in Abu Dhabi for their 5th membership conference. Priority Cargo Network adapted a maximum of three members per country membership status.

After the conference both networks exhibited at the Break Bulk Europe Exhibition through the Quality Cargo Networks (QCN) booth 123 in Hall 1 and experienced a constant flow of visitors, interested in the networks and their members’ services.
