Ekin Heavy & Project Cargo Transportation Co., member to the Cargo Equipment Experts CEE network in Turkey, has recently performed a successful shipment of two scrubbers from Mersin to Kocaeli in Turkey.

Scrubbers each measuring 23 x 6,40 x 6,10 m and weighing 45 tons, got loaded at Tarsus, Mersin and discharged at Yarimca. Ekin dispatched the shipment safely via landway from Tarsus to Mersin port (23 km – 6 hours), seaway from Mersin port to Evyap port, and via landway from Evyap port to Yarimca.

Ekin was responsible for all procedures which included chartering a vessel, loading onto the vessel at Mersin port and discharge from the vessel at Evyap port and lashing, dunnage and unlashing on vessel and escort, permit, removing of all necessary overpasses, signboards and electric cables on route.
