Heavy reactor from Germany to Belgium by V. Alexander

V. Alexander International Logistics GmbH, member to the Cargo Equipment Experts CEE network in Germany, reports about a project move from Germany and Italy to Belgium for a chemical-plant.

The picture attached shows the road transport of a reactor (1860x469x583 cm, 110 t) on its way to the inland-river-port of Aken, where the unit was loaded onto a barge for river-transport to Antwerp. In Antwerp, the reactor was put back on truck and rolled out to the factory.

There are two more reactors of the same size and other equipment for this project from Germany and from Italy. V. Alexander organized all relevant transport-modes (truck, barge, cranage) as well as surveys by their licensed surveyors on each loading-place.
