Intermax Logistics in China (South West Branch) moves heavy mill stands from inland China to coastal area

Intermax Logistics Solution Ltd. (InterMax), China, transported mill stands from Sichuan to Jiangsu. InterMax was appointed by Erzhong Group to transport 2 pieces of mill stands, each with dimensions of 12020*4970*1910mm each weighting 235tons. The project was designed to move the mill stands from Deyang factory of Erzhong Group in Sichuan to Leshan heavy cargo port and the final destination was Erzhong Group Port, Zhenjiang, Jiangsu.

The distance from Deyang to Leshan and to Zhenjing was around 2100km, from Western China to Eastern China. The newly established South West branch of InterMax arranged for the road and river transportation of the mill stands. The shipment was loaded on heavy duty flat bed trailers. Road conditions and weather could often cause a problem for safe and timely transportation but with Intermax experienced staff and well planned route, the cargo was safely delivered to Leshan Port.
The two mill stands were directly loaded from the trailers into the waiting vessel in Leshan Port. Three hours it took for the whole loading process including fixing and lashing, under strict supervision of InterMax professional staff.

The vessel departed soon after the loading was finished and arrived Zhenjiang safely. With the newly opened Chongqing branch, Intermax has proofed its ability to handle heavy lift transport throughout the whole China and connecting from inland to coastal area.
