Tight schedule to move heavy generators no problem for Harbor Freight Transport in Port of Newark

Harbor Freight Transport, member to the CEE in Newark/New York, recently was faced with a tight schedule to move five heavy generators.

After having been stored in-bond for about one year all five units needed to be transported and loaded onto an ACL vessel, located at Berth 17 in the Port of Newark. The challenge was that only two days’ notice was given and the experts from Harbor Freight Transport only had three days to complete the job.

The cargo consisted of 5 Generators for Rolls Royce 30′ long, 16′ wide and 11′ high 220,000 lbs each, and additional 500,000 lbs of miscellaneous cargo.
