Tube Mill Shipment from Germany to USA by Alexander Global Logistics

Alexander Global Logistics (AGL), member to the Cargo Equipment Experts CEE network in Germany, reports about the first breakbulk moves for their 38.000 freight tonnes project concerning a new tube mill in Shreveport, Louisiana, USA.

The pictures show the loading of the first overdimensional cases in Bremerhaven, Germany for Houston.

The cargo travelled overland on special trucks from Houston to the jobsite in Louisiana. Apart from the breakbulk units for this significant project additional 1000 containers are handled by AGL within a very short transport period of only four months for the complete job, consisting of pre-carriages, port-handlings, seafreight, documentation, customs clearance and inspections by Alexander’s inhouse surveyors.
