V. Alexander struggles with ice to get heavy reactor through Hamburg to Indonesia

V. Alexander International Logistics GmbH, a CEE-Member in Germany, reports about another successful move for a 96-tons-reactor and containers plus spare parts from Germany to Indonesia via Hamburg Port.

The pictures show the loading of the barge for pre-carriage to Hamburg under extreme weather-conditions. In this case V. Alexander needed to organize an inland-waterway-icebreaker to get the loading-jetty ice-free in order to get the chartered barge moved out. This critical situation was professionally handled and supervised by V. Alexander’s own master-mariners-survey-team.
