The members of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) conducted their 15th annual conference in Fuengirola in the Malaga province of Spain in May 13-15, 2015.
This year’s conference was co-hosted by the networks Spanish member Kaleido Logistics & Solutions, who arranged for cultural local flair by first class musicians and contributed by sponsoring the events after dinner entertainment.
The leading network members, sponsors, attending guests and media representatives learned about anti bribery and corruption policies from the TRACE Organizations President, Mrs. Alexandra Wrage. As the first and only project forwarder network WWPC achieved certification with TRACE earlier this year.
Continuing their support towards children in need the WWPC management selected the INFANIA organization from Malaga, active in foster child care in the Malaga area. For that matter the members arranged a benefiz auction during the event for which Mr. Xoan Martinez, CEO of co-host Kaleido Logistics & Solutions acted as auctioneer. The conference sponsors, members and attending media, Wallenius Wilhelmsen, SAL Heavy Lift, Ruslan International, Atlas Air, Heavylift & Project Forwarding International and the International Transport Journal ITJ donated ships and aircraft models, travel vouchers, models of freight locomotives and advertisement packages for the auction. Along with money donations a record USD 41.000,00 was raised to support INFANIA.
As new member to the Board of Advisors Mr. Ahmed El Dahshan from Khedivial Marine Logistics S.A.E, Egypt, was elected. Other BoA members to continue in their positions are Mr. Willy Hoffmann of BNSF Logistics, USA, Mr. Patrick Lee of CNC Freight, Malaysia and Mr. Dirk Roethig of LS Cargo International, Germany.
As venue for the 2016 WWPC conference the members voted for Panama.
