Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) successfully hosted its 23rd Annual Membership Conference in Milan, Italy, October 5 – 8, 2025 and celebrated 25 Years of incorporation. Members from across the globe convened for a dynamic program of business networking, industry insights, and cultural exchange in one of Europe’s most iconic cities.
Fioravanti S.R.L., WWPC’s Italian member headquartered in Milan, served as the local host and principal sponsor. Under the leadership of Managing Director Mr. Riccardo Fioravanti, the company ensured a memorable experience for attendees, which included WWPC members and invited guest speakers.
The conference opened with a rooftop welcome reception at Hotel Dei Cavalieri, offering panoramic views of Milan’s historic center. Over the following three days, participants engaged in Member-to-Member sessions, attended insightful presentations, and enjoyed curated dinners and cultural excursions arranged by Fioravanti S.R.L. and WWPC.

- Mr. Mauro Marchiori, Executive Director of Venezia Terminal and Mr. Carlo Freni, Breakbulk Key Account, FHP Group: Activities and services of their various port terminals in Italy in regard of breakbulk cargo handling.
- Ms. Aru Zhumagalyieva & Mr. Raffello Fontanella, Fioravanti S.R.L.: Overview of the company’s heavy lift and breakbulk cargo project operations.
- Ms. Tania Pellegrini, Culturlink: The importance of intercultural communication in global business.
- Ms. Nicol Schiavoni, Vice President, Fedespedi Giovani: Youth engagement and sustainability initiatives in the freight forwarding sector.
- Ms. Silvans Lauria, Vice President, Children in Crisis Italy.
WWPC Charity Auction raised impressive amount for Children in Crises Italy
One of the highlights of the event was the traditional WWPC charity auction benefiting Children in Crisis, Italy. Ms. Silvana Lauria, Vice President of the organization, shared insights into their impactful work. Led by auctioneer Mr. Willy Hoffmann, Vice President of Project Sales at Ambercor Shipping (USA), the auction raised an impressive USD 25.000 through donated funds from the attending members and guests, and items and contributions from Fioravanti S.R.L., BBC Chartering, Ambercor Shipping (Canada), Mr. Stuart Murdoch (WWPC, Hong Kong), Trilog AB (Sweden), and Pol-Agent (Poland).

Members voted to hold the 2026 WWPC Membership Conference in Marrakesh, Morocco and Mr. Ali El Hsissen, Managing Director of Perez Y Cia, Maroc Sarl-AU, agreed to serve as the local host.
