We like to inform you that we have decided to join forces with BNSF Logistics, a Berkshire Hathaway Company, with head office in Grapevine, Texas, USA.
After nearly a year of negotiations the shareholders of the Albacor Shipping Group have decided to sell their business to BNSF Logistics and to become a part of the Berkshire Hathaway family.
We are convinced that being acquired by BNSFL, an independent North American company, will provide stability to Albacor for years to come. It will also allow us access to increased financial resources as well as to their expertise in rail and rail transloading and various other services, presently not offered by Albacor Shipping.
There will be no change in regards to your contact person within Albacor, and the daily operations of the company will continue as in the past.
