Denholm Project Forwarding beating the cold

On a crisp, sunny and very cold day (-10 degrees C!) in Norway in December 2021, having overcome the unanticipated challenges caused by the low temperatures, Denholm Project Forwarding, member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) for the United Kingdom, supervised the loading of dismantled factory equipment onto a vessel destined for Newcastle in the UK, with some of the equipment then forwarded on to Grangemouth.

Denholm Project Forwarding has been coordinating the project forwarding of this factory equipment from Norway to the UK on behalf of Bridon-Bekaert Ropes Group over the past 18 months. The challenge on this particular day in December was the cranes freezing – not ideal when there was only a 24-hour window in which to load the vessel! However, as you’ll see from the video, after organising engineers to get the cranes functioning again, the equipment was loaded within the original timeframe and has since been delivered to Bridon-Bekaert Ropes Group.
