Express Global Logistics executed heavylift project cargo for EPC company

Express Global Logistics (EXG) project team has recently successfully completed a job on turnkey bases including supply of cranes at site. This phase consisted of more than 12,000 FRTons of fabricated steel structures for a large Chinese EPC company.

The job included receiving the structures under hook at Mumbai port in two lots and after completion of port handling and custom clearance the cargo was transported safely over 450 km inland to the project site in Jambusar (Gujarat). The heaviest piece was 42 tons and the longest pieces measured 24.5 m in length.

Total 140 trailers of various types (Long Body Trailers/ Low bed/ Semi low bed/ Flat bed) were used for transportation. EXG had carried out extensive route surveys from the port to the project site and well in advance, to ensure no obstacles are faced while transporting over dimensional pieces. EXG cranes were deployed for site handling and erection activities.

Express Global Logistics is a project specialists company established in 1946 with headquarters in Mumbai and offices across pan India level backed by their own fleet of hydraulic axles, cranes (up to 450 tons) and warehouses etc.
