Greek project specialist Cosmatos in action

Cosmatos Shipping Services, member of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) for Greece, informed about a number of their recent significant project transports.

1835 cbm of project cargo from Turkey for a new power and heat plant in Slovenia
The scope for Cosmatos included the ship chartering including stevedoring, lashing, securing, unlashing of the cargo on board.

Power plant equipment
Shipments under Cosmatos ship charter to a new power plant in Greece continue. From Far East a part cargo shipment of 210 tons – 500 cbm with the main drum unit: dimensions of 19,12 x 2,57 x 3,05 m and weight 140 ton. Lashing, securing and dunnaging was included the services delivered by Cosmatos.

Extrusion press from Italy to Greece
Recently the Cosmatos team delivered an extrusion press 7.9 x 2.85 x 2.7 m – 104 ton by direct road transport from North Italy to Greece. Permits and escorts in Italy and Greece were under the contracted scope, combined with the ferry crossing.

Desalter vessels on the go!
21.5 x 4.85 x 5.7 m and weight of 80 ton shipped from ex works Thessaloniki to Constanta.

Deliveries to Motoroil Refinery in Corinth
Cosmatos safely discharged a 79 ton boiler at Kalamaki terminal and forwarded it to Motoroil Corinth Refinery, where the unit was delivered and flipped over for installation check. Dimensions: 7.2 x 7.2 x 4.9 m.
