Platetrade S.A., member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) for Argentina, has been nominated for the expansion of a dam in Argentina and moved hydro part pieces from Genoa through Antwerp for Argentina as final destination.
With single piece weights of 118 tons and a length of 13 meters it was a challenge to transport the shipment bathed along the river to the final destination jobsite at the border with Paraguay.
This is the third shipment performed by Platetrade for this project, which is the expansion of the biggest binational dam between Argentina and Paraguay.
