Multimodal transport Taiwan for Kazakhstan

InterMax Solutions Ltd, member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) for Taiwan, arranged for safe on-time transportation of a 45 tons heavy and oversized Solid Frame Mechanical Press from Kaohsiung, Taiwan via Shanghai to Alashankou, a border city to Kazakhstan on mainland China by ocean and road transport.

A spokesperson for InterMax Solutions stated: “The cargo was oversized by 5 x 3.7 x 3 meter and 45 tons of weight which we could not load on flat rack thus we had to choose oversea shipping by breakbulk vessel from Kaohsiung to Shanghai. We arranged for a lifting crane and direct unloading on our truck as the port crane could only lift 30 tons. As the cargo was over width and over height, we had to plan the route very carefully and used specific equipment, applied for a related license to secure the safety of the transport. It took about 4 days and 4400km from Shanghai to Alashankou by truck. Our client was very satisfied with our speedy service which the whole ocean and road transportation took only 12 days in total.”
