Steder Group, member to the Worldwide Project Consortium WWPC for The Netherlands, has handled a prestigious shipment of three heavy cable reels from Italy to the Netherlands.
The cargo consisted of three reels with a per unit weight of 252 tons for which Steder Group’s experts chartered a box shaped coaster vessel.
In addition to managing the ocean carriage it was Steder’s scope to arrange loading, weight spread and proper lashing and welding of the reels to the tanktop of the ocean vessel.
After completing loading the vessel headed to The Netherlands, where the cables will be installed on a heavy lift crane.
