Cargo Equipment Experts CEE network enjoys growing interest in a global scale and conducted its 5th annual membership conference in Antwerp, ahead of the Europe Break Bulk Exhibition.

Starting with an evening reception in the famous Hilton hotel in Antwerp old town, CEE members enjoyed a conference with company presentations and Member-to-Member meetings. In the afternoon a voyage from the nearby river terminal accross the River Scheldt onboard an antique three-masted sailing ship to the All-Weather-Terminal of CEE member Wijngaard Natie was a highlight of this years event. Ongoing discharge operations of sensible steel coils from a cargo ship under roof at that terminal and the state-of-the-art steel cutting line inside the huge facility raised great interest by the CEE group. Afterwards the CEE members were treated with refreshments and updates on Wijngaard Natie’s extensive operations at the nearby headquarters of the company.
After sailing back to the river terminal a short walk to a typical Belgian restaurant was rewarded with a delicious dinner which also ended this years CEE membership conference and events.

CEE network Directors Maarit and Wolfgang Karau supported a local youth charity by attending the 10 km business run ahead of the Europe Break Bulk Exhibition.

This year’s CEE membership conference was conducted in cooperation with the 3rd Priority Cargo Network conference.
