InterMax from China acquired Yangtze River barge company

InterMax Logistics Solutions Ltd (ITM), member to the Cargo Equipment Experts CEE network in China, has acquired a Yangtze River shipping company Hualong Shipping Co. on 11 Oct 2013. The company are leaders in carrying heavy and oversized cargo from Shanghai to Leshan, Sichuan province, covering a distance of more than 3000 km.

On the longest river in the world the company provides a seamless service link with owned feeder fleet to carry out down river and up river transportation. The feeders have achieved remarkable cargo handling records in the Yantze for hydro power, thermal power, nuclear power, wind power, chemical and oil refinery projects. The company also is officially authorized to be a Yangtze carrier to nuclear power transporter.

The company reorganized and renamed to Max Shipping Co. Ltd. with a fleet of 6 x 1000-1800 tons project cargo feeders to serve customers with ocean-river bridge services, expanding coverage from the hinterland of dragon to overseas or vice versa. Max shipping is enlarging and will be one of the key component of the ITM Group.

Recently Max Shipping loaded heavy equipment for the Fuqing nuclear power plant to be carried from Leshan Port by their Yantze river barge.
