Intermax manages project for Dongfang Cangnan Power Plant

Intermax Logistics Solution Ltd, member to the Cargo Equipment Experts CEE network in Shanghai, through their South West Branch, transported 15 sets of heavy equipment. The units were first shipped to Chongqing from Deyang and then delivered to Nantong.

The equipment crates were outsized and heavy in weight, with maximum size of each piece: 1830x245x310cm, 71 tons, and the minimum: 834x400x200cm, 23.3 tons. The special crates consisted of wooden frames and waterproof cloth packaging. The goods were transported to Chongqing Naxi Gou Port with heavy duty low bed trailers from the manufacturing plant in Deyang. Intermax ensured the safe transportation overland dealing with weather and traffic problems.

On March 28, 2013, the first batch of 8 pieces of equipment was shipped to the Chongqing Naxi Gou Port Wharf. Dock workers were well prepared when the barge of Intermax “Xinglong 908″ berthed at the pier. There was previously no similar operation which involved such a large volume of cargo. The management of the port placed high attention to this shipment. The goods were shipped on board safely based on the assistance and co-operation of the port.
