Express Global Logistics assisting the Indian Army

Express Global Logistics, member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) in India, had been awarded a prestigious Indian Army cargo to be delivered on door to door basis from Delhi and Mumbai (India) to Juba and Bor (South Sudan) [Land – Sea -Land]. The mentioned Multimodal activity completed the 1st leg of picking up the cargo from various location of Delhi and Mumbai and delivered inside Mumbai Port Trust.

The shipment consisted of 75 pieces various rolling construction equipment, totalling 2200 cbm and 597 tons and was transported over a distance of 1485 km.

All the cargo was lifted and transported on stringent terms and condition of Indian Army. A rigorous activity of constructing a ramp inside army premises was done to load the vehicles onto trailers. All the equipment were stored in a compacted area inside the port under guarding and sufficient lighting to avoid unforeseen problems.
