Guangzhou Sunshine Int’l Logistics successful in heavy and oversized transport in China

Guangzhou Sunshine Int’l Logistics Co.Ltd, member to the WWPC in China, recently performed the delivery of oversized cargo for CNPC, which included a total of 48 pieces of cargo, with dimensions being over 7m and the biggest single piece 28.45m x 8.2m x 8.5m weighting 150 tons. The service scope included: land transportation from factory in Qinzhou to Qinzhou port, loading to barge, shipping from Qinzhou to Hainan.

The challenge for this project was to get across and through 5 km city roads (commercial) area and 26 obstacles had been overcome. These obstacles included high-voltage line, communication cable, the height of which was from 5m to 9m.

Once the movement was started, the power and communication of the area involved (Including hospital and port) of the town was cut down intentionally to provide the required safe environment for the transports.
