Steder Group gets propulsion equipment for newbuildings from Europe to USA

Steder Group b.v., member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) for the Netherlands managed various transports of ship newbuilding propulsion systems from Antwerp and Southampton to Charleston USA by utilizing regular container liner vessels.

  • From Antwerp Steder Group received on terms FAS Barge two propulsion motors of 132 ton weight with dimensions of 6.17 x 4.7 x 5.31 m each.
  • Four generators of 40 ton, 4.8 x 4 x 3.3 m each and 8 pgs spares on 2 x 40ft flat racks got shipped from Southampton.
  • Propulsion equipment on containers, including 2 x 40ft flat racks with overlength items of 13.75 m length and 23.8 ton each, were shipped from Bremerhaven.
