Project & Logistics Chile S.A./Tecniproject S.A., has just finished a contract for loading, transporting and shipping a complete dismantled ammonia plant from Puerto Mejillones in Chile to Xingang, China.
The total amount of cargo consisted of 24.000 cbm and 220 units 40’SOCs, which was loaded onto two heavy lift vessels, with more than 20 pieces weighing from 100 tons to 350 ton.
Tecniproject lifted the heavy pieces with its own Gantry Liftsystem 48A for 800 ton and transported them with its own modular trailers from the shippers plant, a distance of about 10 kms from the load port. Two bypasses had to be created enroute in order to avoid high voltage electricity cables.
