Strong support for CEE in Antwerp

The European Break Bulk Exhibition in Antwerp was another successful event for the euqipment and manufacturers’ network Cargo Equipment Experts CEE, according to a statement from Wolfgang Karau, Director for the network.

He added: “After having experienced likewise favorable interest and support for the CEE network from various players in heavy cargo transportation during the Intermodal fair in Sao Paulo one month before, we exhibited in Antwerp and again enjoyed an overwhelming interest for our activities. Our CEE booth staff had all hands full to deliver requested information about the network and its membership companies to the many visitors on both days of the exhibition. The network has existed three years only and already well known recognized companies have joined the CEE to market their various equipment and services for actual movement of heavy and outsized cargo.”

“The CEE management is convinced this type of network delivers an important and popular tool for buyers of heavy cargo transportation, enabling them to locate and identify the right specialists for individual complicated movements in a global scale and at the same time elevates the membership companies’ services to a global level of recognition” Karau continued.

After the Break Bulk Exhibition the CEE network conducted its third Annual Membership Conference for 40 attendees. Members voted for the venue and date for the 4th CEE conference in 2013 to be in conjunction with a major exhibition and shall conduct a poll about this matter in the forthcoming days. Another subject for the voting by the members was the acceptance of two new CEE service categories “Rail Operators” and “Rigging & Skidding”.

The conference attendees had a pleasure to visit the premises of Heavy Logistics n.v., Member of CEE and sponsor for the conference.
