Delta Maritime, member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) for Greece, announced the successful special transport from Wels, Austria to Alexandroupolis, Greece.

Two Tatra 8×8 pipe carriers weighed 16.5 tons each with dimensions of 10.3 x 2.85 x 2.43 m and two Liebherr 944 excavators weighed 36.5 tons each with dimensions of 11.9 x 3.5 x 3.2 m, accompanied by their accessories.

The excavators Liebherr 944 and the pipe carriers Tatra 8 x 8 were loaded on special certified Holleman trailers. The accessories were transported by standard taut-liners. With a transit time of 6 days and smooth discharging operations upon trucks arrival, Delta Maritime together with all parties ensured the best results.
